FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a communication system for measuring and reminding connected to a container with a substance for transmitting data to a computing device of a user through a communication network. Device for measuring level of substance inside container, consisting of housing, detachably attached to container cap, in which the housing is configured to remain attached to the cap when the cap is at least partially removed from the container, said housing comprises a lower cover attached to the housing, and is configured to install on the cap of the container, a signal forming unit located in the housing, a first sensor located in the housing, to determine the level of the beverage in the container, a controller located in the housing, wherein said controller is configured to receive from the first sensor readings about the level of the beverage in the container, as well as to activate the signal generating unit based on at least readings about beverage level in container; as well as a battery holder configured to hold the battery and electrically connected to supply said controller, wherein said battery holder is attached to the housing.

EFFECT: technical result is fast and accurate measurement of level of substance in reservoir, generation of signals of reminders based on consumption of substance.
