FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric power engineering and can be used for monitoring of insulation state of high-voltage bushings of electric equipment equipped with measuring lead for this purpose. Measurement lead grounding is made inside housing (2) of connection device (1) by means of electric connection of housing (2) with pin (4). Leakage current flowing through bolt (4) to housing (2) and further to input casing (3) is measured by inductance coil (6) placed in housing (2), enclosing at least one element of chain leakage current. Capacity of controlled input (3) is calculated from measured values of leakage current, voltage and frequency, deviation of calculated capacitance from input capacitance (3) with undamaged insulation is diagnosed and insulation defect is diagnosed if specified deviation exceeds preset value.

EFFECT: technical result of invention is improvement of reliability and safety of operational monitoring of insulation state of high-voltage input under operating voltage.
