SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical equipment, in particular to charging devices charging methods. It is achieved by performing multi-stage charging of the battery at constant current value, at that, limiting voltage of charging at constant current value is higher than standard limit charging voltage at constant value of current. Performing multi-stage charging of battery at constant value of voltage, at that limiting charging current at constant value of voltage is more than standard limiting charging current at constant value of voltage. By setting a higher value of charging limit voltage at constant value of current and higher value of limiting charging current at constant value of voltage, and performing charging at constant current value in multi-stage method and at constant value of current, charging speed of battery may be increased.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increase in the battery charging speed and in the battery service life extension.
