FIELD: devices for hydroponic growing of plants.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and apparatus for hydroponic growing plants. Method of hydroponic cultivation of plants consists in the fact that during deep-water cultivation of plants on a floating platform only a lower part of the root system is supported and moved in a vertical plane. Device for hydroponic cultivation of plants comprises a vegetation vessel closed from above with a cover with one or more holes for fixation of at least one plant in each hole, and at least one floating platform located inside the vegetation vessel so that at least the bottom part of the floating platform is located below the root system of the plant. At the same time the bottom part of the floating platform is permeable for the nutrient solution, but impermeable for the root system. Area of surface of nutrient solution inside floating platform, which is in contact with air, is more than 85 % of area limited by outer perimeter of floating platform. Floating platform can have an additional float with variable lifting capacity, which is located below the bottom of the floating platform.

EFFECT: method and devices increase efficiency of hydroponic cultivation of plants.
