FIELD: jewellery.
SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a method for making a structural element of jewellery articles from wire by braiding and a structural element of a jewellery product which can be used, in particular, for production of bracelets, rings and other jewels from precious metals. Structural element is made in the form of hollow sleeve by radial braiding around mandrel surface with biaxial wire laying scheme. Rectangular cross-section of the wire is the most preferable for making the described structural elements of the jewellery.
EFFECT: invention discloses a method for making structural elements of jewellery and a structural element of a jewellery product made using said method.
