DEVICE AND METHOD FOR TEACHING WRITING AND CORRECTION OF WRITING Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G09B11/00 

FIELD: computer equipment; training.

SUBSTANCE: task of invention: creation of method and device for teaching letter (writing written letters of Cyrillic or Latin alphabet and their conjugations) with high efficiency forming clear, stable, easy to read handwriting and coordinated with the human perception of information mechanism. Technique of bypass letter on reference points "Golden Section", serving for training letter and correction of handwriting (suitable for Russian and other languages based on Cyrillic alphabet or Latin), differs from other methods using a specially developed uniform methodical grid consisting of reference lines and reference points, built on the basis of the composite principle of "golden section". Apparatus and method are based on the fact that the Method Grid detects the proportions of the letter structure and fixes them with the Reference Points. This in turn enables to separate each letter into single-type parts-elements, according to its proportions, and on the other side allows to assemble any letter as a constructor from single-type elements as a constructor with observance of all initial proportions of the letter. This provides a basis for creating automated fonts. Since Russian written alphabet matches graphical elements with English and other languages based on Latin, then this device and method for them are quite applicable.

EFFECT: student develops 1) stable and stable skill of writing letters writing; at 2) high efficiency of its formation; 3) reduction of training time due to grouping of letters into groups based on similarity of spelling elements, which reduces number of lessons; 4) reproducibility of the result with prolonged absence of practice.
