FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method includes pasture arrangement on enclosures with hedges and exposure to warning signals on animals. Pasture is divided into portion enclosures formed by longitudinal side hedges connected to each other by transverse front and rear virtual hedges, in form of infrared or ultrasonic beams. When the animal's head hits the beam zone, the sensor on the animal's collar is actuated, and a deterrent signal is sent, which causes the animal to change the direction of movement in the opposite direction – inside the enclosure. Virtual fences are made with possibility of periodic switching on and off and animals are grazed by portions into detachment line at exit from permitted zone. Proposed device comprises hedges making animal enclosure. On longitudinal side hedges are installed devices for transmission of infrared or ultrasonic beams, which form virtual transverse hedges, made with possibility of periodic switching on and off.
EFFECT: invention provides reduced costs for servicing animals.
