FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to gastroenterology, dermatology, pathological anatomy, and can be used for diagnosing lambliasis. Lamblia antigen is evaluated. Fecal smears are analyzed with the help of a specific monoclonal antibody. If the lamblis antigen quantity is in range of 1 to 3, a lambliasis with a weakly positive reaction is diagnosed in the field of view, and 3 to 5 in the field of view - is positive and more than 5 in the field of vision is strong positive.
EFFECT: method provides higher accuracy of diagnosing lambliasis by detecting lamblia antigen by immunohistochemical method, which enables high-accuracy assessment of the presence of lambliasis and, accordingly, degree of severity of the pathological process.
