FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method of human lambliasis diagnostics involves suspension of examined sample in floatation solution, centrifugation, surface film capture from floatation solution and microscopic examination of the film. Centrifugation is performed at 1500 g for 5 minutes. Floatation mix is comprised by saturated aqueous solutions of zinc chloride (ZnCL2, ρ-1.82), sodium chloride (NaCl, ρ-1.19) and glycerin, at volume ratio of 1:1:1. Surfacie film is examined for the presence of cysts and/or vegetative forms. Invasion grade is assessed as low, medium, high and ultra high.
EFFECT: improved lambliasis diagnostics, quantitative assessment of invasion grade, components of claimed floatation system not damaging morphology of lamblia cysts and not hindering morphological identification of causative agent.
