FIELD: transport machine building.

SUBSTANCE: system (1) for reducing gas pressure in pipeline (7). System comprises expander (11), arranged and arranged to generate mechanical energy by gas expansion with transition from first pressure to second pressure. System also includes heat pump (23) and a heat transfer circuit (19), in which a heat transfer fluid medium circulates, and which is intended for receiving heat (23) and its transmission to gas using heat exchanger (9). Controller (51) is made and arranged with possibility to regulate flow rate of heat transfer fluid medium, circulating in said circuit (19) to minimize difference between first difference (T1−T4) of gas temperature (T1) and temperature (T4) of heat transfer fluid medium on gas inlet side to heat exchanger (9) and second difference (T2−T3) of gas temperature (T2) and temperature (T3) of heat transfer fluid medium on the side of gas outlet from heat exchanger (9).

EFFECT: technical result consists in enabling use of maximum conversion coefficient (CP) of heat pump at any gas flow rate in pipeline, based on simple temperature measurements.
