SUBSTANCE: personal hygiene appliance comprises a fluid medium applicator, a fluid dispensing assembly comprising a main reservoir storing a fluid for personal hygiene, and an overflow reservoir connected in fluid communication therewith, and capillary element passing through main and overflow reservoirs and in fluid communication with them. Capillary element is connected by fluid medium with the applicator, at the same time the fluid medium flows due to capillary action from the fluid delivery unit to the applicator. Overflow reservoir is in fluid communication with the external ambient air due to external ventilation. Overflow reservoir is in fluid communication with the main reservoir due to internal ventilation formed between the overflow and main reservoirs. Non-capillary route of air flow is formed through overflow reservoir between air medium and main reservoir due to internal and external ventilation. Non-capillary route of air flow allows flow of air to flow in two directions, but prevents leakage of fluid medium for personal hygiene.

EFFECT: invention allows improving reliability and reducing risk of undesirable leaks due to pressure equalization in both directions.
