FIELD: nonwoven materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a nonwoven material which can be used in hygienic absorbent articles. Disclosed is nonwoven material 10, in which, on the side of one surface, a plurality of longitudinal ridge-shaped portions 11 protruding on the side of said one surface in the direction of thickness of the nonwoven material, pass in one direction Y on side of said one surface in plan view and aligned on side of said one surface in plan view with intervals in other direction X, different from said one direction Y on side of said one surface, transverse ridge-shaped parts 21 passing in the other direction X on the side of the said one surface are arranged so that they connect the longitudinal ridge parts 11, and the fiber orientation direction in the longitudinal ridge-shaped parts 11 differs from the fibers orientation direction in the crosswise ridge-shaped parts 21.
EFFECT: significant increase in the value of compression deformation.
