FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to magnetic separators and can be used for separation of loose materials into nonmagnetic and magnetic components in mining, glass, food, light, chemical and other industries. Magnetic separator on permanent magnets for separation of loose products includes housing with upper receiving box for supply of loose materials, with lower branches of magnetic and non-magnetic fractions, magnetic system made from permanent magnets in form of parallelepiped and separation inclined plane. Magnetic system is installed in upper part of separator housing. Separation inclined plane is made on one side of the magnetic system in the form of a dropper representing a flat sheet repeating the shape of this surface of the magnetic system. At the surface of the dropper directed to the flow of loose materials there are dashpots in the form of conical steps. Above magnetic system and dropper on wall of housing there is a hinged mechanism equipped with electric drive, and magnetic system opposite side is installed on bracket connected to hinged mechanism, which serves to change position of magnetic system and dropper during working process. In the lower part of the housing there is a retainer with which the dropper comes into contact in the middle of the process of its removal from magnetic impurities.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of separation process.
