FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of producing aluminosilicate scaly zeolite of ZSM-12 type with MTW structure, which can be used as adsorbents, catalysts and components thereof. Method comprises mixing an aqueous solution with pH = 11.5–13.5, containing an aluminium compound and templates, with a water-glycerine solution containing a silicon compound, to obtain a gel-like mass, wherein the mixture solutions are prepared based on compliance with the following molar ratios of the components used : template/SiO2=0.05–0.15; C3H8O3/SiO2=0.3–0.7; SiO2/Al2O3=50–300; H2O/SiO2=4–10; Na2O/SiO2=0.05–0.15, crystallising the obtained gel-like mass for 5, 6 days at 145–155 °C, washing the separated crystalline product with distilled water, drying to constant weight, annealing at 550 ± 10 °C for 8–12 hours, carrying out ion exchange reaction with aqueous ammonium salt solution, washing the separated product with distilled water, drying to constant weight and calcination at 500 ± 10 °C for 4-7 hours. Silicon compound used is solutions of colloidal silicon dioxide or tetraethoxysilane, the aluminium compound used is aluminium sulphate octadecahydrate or aluminium nitrate nanohydrate, or aluminium isopropoxide, or sodium metaaluminate, or aluminium chloride hexahydrate, and as template alkyl ammonium or ethanol-alkyl ammonium salt.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a flake zeolite with flake thickness of 5 to 15 nm and length of 0_5 to 1_2 mcm, with sodium oxide content in the end product of not more than 0_05 wt %, in time not exceeding 220 hours, with crystallinity degree of zeolite of more than 90 %.
