FIELD: composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: present invention reveals a method for obtaining a micro mesoporous composite material with a proportion of macropores (from 5 to 15%) ZSM-12 /MCM-41 and with a hierarchical structure. This material ZSM-12/MCM-41 can be used to carry out catalytic processes of selective isomerization of benzene-toluene-xylene fraction components and a number of other aromatic hydrocarbons, in particular alkyl-benzenes, as well as toluene disproportionation, etc. The synthesized product has a degree of crystallinity of at least 90%.
EFFECT: development of new composite materials, which by their characteristics are suitable for use as the basis of catalysts for the selective conversion of alkyl benzenes into para-xylene.
