SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a multifunctional device. Result is achieved by the reading unit reading the document according to the instruction for performing the given image processing process. Image processing unit applies the given image processing process to the image data obtained by the reading unit. Synchronization controller controls the synchronizing image transmission signal for transmitting image data to the image processing unit from the reading unit. Synchronization controller sets the clock frequency of the image transmission signal to the specified frequency in the case when the given image processing process is performed independently. And synchronization controller sets synchronization frequency of image transmission signal to frequency below specified frequency in case, when a given image processing process is carried out in parallel with at least one other image processing process which is different from the predetermined image processing process.
EFFECT: enabling the possibility of performing a scanning task and another process of processing an image in parallel without reducing the reading speed of the scanner unit.
