FIELD: sandwich structures.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an element in the form of a sandwich structure. Element in form of a sandwich structure comprises first element with surface extending in longitudinal direction, with thickness and height less than longitudinal length, and second element with surface, extending in the same longitudinal direction as the first member, with thickness and height smaller than the longitudinal length. Second element is located opposite the flat surface of the first element. Besides, the element in the form of a sandwich-structure contains an open core structure, located between first and second elements and functionally connected to them. Open core structure comprises multiple tightly packed tetrahedral structures.
EFFECT: technical result of invention consists in creation of strong structure, which simultaneously has very low density.
