SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to surgical dentistry, and can be used for diagnosis in operations aimed at increasing the volume of attached keratinized oral mucosa. Before the operation, a plate is made, which fixes the depth of the oral cavity before the operation, by taking an impression, casting of the diagnostic plaster model, making a plate on it of light-cured plastic material, having a lower edge corresponding to the transition boundary of the attached gingiva to the movable one. One month after the vestibuloplasty procedure, the previously produced plate is fixed in the oral cavity, the impression is photographed by an algite impression and the second gypsum model is cast, on which the width of the attached gingiva is measured by determining the distance between the lower edge of the said plate and the surgically corrected transition border of the graft to the movable gingiva. Also, the growth width of the keratinized attached gum produced as a result of vestibuloplasty can be determined virtually using 3SHAPE laboratory scanner and the Amira software platform.

EFFECT: inventions allow controlling the increase in the width of the attached gingiva after conducting vestibuloplasty, determining the effectiveness of the surgical technique.
