FIELD: heat exchange equipment.
SUBSTANCE: heat exchange element in the form of a pipe, which is obtained using additive technologies (3D printing), with a channel cross-section varying along the axis. Changing the cross-section shape is performed by stretching, compression, turning the channel cross-section and shifting the center of mass of the channel cross-section. Cross-sectional area of the channel remains unchanged. Values of stretching and compression coefficients of channel cross-section range from 1 to 15. Cross-section of heat exchange element channel in its initial point can have any shape, for example, polygon, circle, oval, stadium, star.
EFFECT: heat exchange element is proposed.
