FIELD: medicine; pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biodegradable films which can be used in medicine, pharmaceutics, food, cosmetic industry, as well as for production of packing materials. Method of producing a biodegradable film from a mixture of components based on potato starch according to a first embodiment thorough mixing of components of the mixture, performing ultrasonic treatment, heating on a water bath, cooling, forming a film on a glass surface and drying it, wherein the following ratio of components, wt. % is used: potato starch 4.2–5.0, sodium alginate 0.1–0.8, glycerine 5.0–20.0, distilled water - balance, potato starch with addition of sodium alginate is dissolved in distilled water, stirred by means of a mechanical stirrer at rate of 120 rpm for 5 minutes, at the end of the mixing process, glycerol is added, the obtained suspension is treated with an ultrasonic effect at oscillation frequency 22 ± 1.65 kHz and power 630 W for 5 minutes at temperature 28 ± 4 °C, then solution is heated for not more than 5 minutes in water bath while stirring and temperature of 80–90 °C, cooled to temperature of 50 °C, films are formed by watering on a glass surface with subsequent distribution of solution on surface and dried at temperature of 20–25 °C. Method of producing biodegradable film according to a second embodiment from a mixture of components based on potato starch involves thorough mixing of components of the mixture, ultrasonic treatment, heating on a water bath, cooling, forming a film on a glass surface and drying it, wherein the following ratio of components, wt. %, is used: potato starch 1.2–2.2; sodium alginate 2.8–3.2; glycerine 1.9–2.1; decidormal solution of hydrochloric acid 2.8–3.2; decinormal sodium hydroxide solution to pH = 7; distilled water - balance; wherein potato starch with addition of sodium alginate is dissolved in distilled water, stirred by means of a mechanical mixer at rate of 120 rpm for 5 minutes, at the end of the mixing process, glycerin and a decianormal solution of hydrochloric acid are added, adjustment of acidity with decinormal sodium hydroxide solution to pH = 7, obtained suspension is treated by ultrasonic action with oscillation frequency 22 ± 1.65 kHz and power 630 W for 3–5 minutes, then solution is heated no more than 5 minutes in water bath with constant stirring and temperature of 80–90 °C is cooled to temperature of 50 °C, films are formed by watering on glass surface with subsequent distribution of solution on surface and dried at temperature of 20–25 °C.
EFFECT: technical result is development of biodegradable composite material based on plant biopolymers, having sufficient elasticity and strength.
