Composition for producing a biodegradable polymer film material contains the following components in the following ratio, wt.%: starch 0.2–0.5, chitosan 0.8–1.3, polyvinyl alcohol 0.4–0.9, glycerine 1.2–1.8, citric acid 0.05–0.08, black tea extract 0.7–1.2, acetic acid 0.33–0.65, water – the rest. Invention also relates to a biodegradable polymer film material based on a composition for producing a biodegradable polymer film material.

EFFECT: high strength of the obtained film, namely increased breaking stress, reduced degree of water vapor sorption, preservation of biodegradation time.
