SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a developing apparatus that develops an electrostatic latent image formed on a photosensitive drum, and is configured to be attached to / from the image forming apparatus main body, as well as to a process cartridge which forms a developer image on the photosensitive drum and is configured to be attached to the main body of the image forming / separation device. Disclosed group of inventions includes a developing cartridge and an image forming device. Developing cartridge comprises: a housing, rotatably supporting a developing roller, wherein housing includes a coloring powder chamber for containing coloring powder, first end and second end opposite first end relative to axial direction of developing roller, connecting element provided adjacent to first housing end, wherein connecting element is connected during operation with developing roller, first side cover closing first end of housing, wherein first side cover is made with possibility of rotation relative to housing about rotation axis Y and second side cover closing second end of housing, wherein second side cover is made with possibility of rotation relative to housing and first side cover around said rotation axis Y, note here that said first side cover includes opening and that connecting element can be opened from first side cover via said hole.

EFFECT: technical result is preventing the upsizing of the developing cartridge serving as a developing apparatus.
