SLEEP SIGNAL CONVERSION DEVICE AND METHOD Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B5/205 A61B5/24 A61B5/11

Abstract RU 2732117 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a device and a method of converting a sleep signal for a sleep monitor, as well as to a sleep monitoring system. System comprises a first and a second sleep sensor for receiving a physiological signal from a sleeping mammal, a sleep signal conversion device and a sleep monitor for monitoring the output sleep signal received from the sleep signal converter. Signals of the sensors are processed to output the first and second parameters indicating the magnitude of the signal of the first and second sensors, respectively. Signal of the first sensor differs from the signal of the second sensor. Detecting by means of detector, when first sensor signal is clipped. Ratio is calculated using a divisor based on dividing the first parameter by the second parameter when the signal of the first sensor is not clipped. First sensor design signal is generated based on the multiplication of the second output signal by the said ratio. Using first switch output first sleep signal, based on design signal of first sensor, when detecting that the first sensor signal is being clipped. First output signal based on the signal of the first sensor is output by means of a switch, when it is detected that the signal of the first sensor is not clipped.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of sleep monitoring with limited dynamic range in medium with large differences in amplitude of monitored signals providing a proportionally correct signal during general body mobility.
