FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: sleep control device comprises a physiological characteristic monitor, a sensory stimulus generator, a processor functionally connected to the physiological characteristic monitor and the sensory stimulus generator. Processor is designed to receive an input signal from a physiological characteristic indicating a first sleep stage of the sleeper, and provide an output signal for a sensory stimulus generator, to cause generation of a sensory stimulus in response to an input signal from a physiological characteristic monitor for imposing a sleep rhythm on the sleeper and for changing the first sensory stimulus to transfer the sleeper from the first sleep stage to the second sleep stage. As a sensory stimulus generator, a binaural stimulation device is used, which includes a mask which blocks light access to closed eyes, and two grounding contacts, each of which is implemented in the form of a clip on an earlobe.
EFFECT: higher reliability of sleep control device.
