SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to garbage containers for separating waste paper products from other types of wastes. Garbage container comprises sorting space for separation of wastes of paper products from other types of wastes, movable separating element comprising multiple holes, receiving device for determining physical property, intended for determining physical property of wastes entering the sorting space, removing element for transfer of wastes from sorting space into compartment for wastes of paper products and control facility intended for control of movable separating element and removing element. Movable separating element is movable at application of external force exceeding threshold value. Control means is configured to actuate the removal element or the movable separating element based on the determination of the physical property, which is obtained by the sensing device for determining the physical property.

EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability of separation of waste paper products from other types of wastes.
