FIELD: public utilities.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of public utilities, in particular to remote monitoring of the state of garbage containers. Invention can be used to control overfilling, emptying and ignition of garbage containers. Garbage containers remote monitoring system comprises distance sensors arranged at the upper edge on the adjacent inner side walls of the container, an overturning sensor placed in the housing of the data transmission module, a real-time clock, a temperature sensor, a radio frequency identification system, a GPS/GLONASS module, an opening sensor, a radio modem, a power module, a storage battery connected to the power module. Information on the moment of container filling is transmitted to a remote user computer via a radio modem via a wireless protocol. In the lower part of the container on the side wall there is a piezoelectric generator connected to a steel plate; output contacts of the piezoelectric generator are connected to the power supply module.

EFFECT: invention provides higher accuracy of determining the moment of filling a garbage container and increased time of autonomous operation of the system.
