FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of articles from thermoplastic polymer materials. Technical result is achieved by a method which includes preparation of a thermoplastic polymer composition in a mixer, extrusion of the polymer composition using an extruder with a slotted outlet to produce a sheet blank, transfer of sheet billet to vacuum forming assembly and its placement in die cavity, and moulding and cooling of article. At the same time movement of sheet billet between slotted outlet hole of extruder and unit of vacuum moulding is performed by means of receiving table containing moving conveyor belt. At that, during extrusion, sheet billet coming out of slit hole of extruder is directed to conveyor belt of receiving table, which is made with possibility to adjust transfer speed of sheet billet. Thermal stabilization of sheet workpiece is carried out on receiving table during transportation.
EFFECT: technical result is improved stability of properties and quality of products due to homogeneous thickness of sheet billet by its area, as well as reduced rejects of finished products.
