FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to rehabilitation. For treating clinically evident capsular contracture following the installation of silicone breast endoprostheses, the patient is subjected to preliminary marking and using an insulin syringe with volume of 1 ml, a diffuse injection of 2 units incabothulotoxin A is performed in one point at pitch of 2–3 cm in places of a less pronounced thickening of the implant capsule. In places of maximum thickening of capsule and in area of keloid cicatrix – by 5 units in one point with pitch of 1.5–2 cm, in one application from 50 to 200 units are introduced. If observing the positive effect, the preparation is administered every 3–4 weeks and no more than three applications for six months, wherein the total dosage of the preparation should not exceed 600 units throughout the treatment period.

EFFECT: method allows postponing or refusing surgical management in the presence of clinically manifested capsular contracture.
