FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: internal temperature of tissue of mammary glands is determined in 9 symmetrical points from both sides by method of radiothermometry at least 3 months after performing operation on endoprosthetics of mammary glands. The average value of internal temperature of tissue of mammary glands, which is taken for the standard - individual norm for the said patient, is obtained. After that, values of internal temperature are measured in all segments of mammary glands, compared with the standard and value of their excess over the standard is determined. In case if excess of the said parameters is 0.7°C and less, absence of prognostic signs of fibrosis development is determined. In case of 0.8°C and larger excess of said parameters in one or several segments of one or both mammary glands, probable development of capsular contracture is predicted.
EFFECT: method ensures objectification of early detection of inflammatory process to select adequate and timely diagnostic and treatment tactics to prevent capsular contracture.
