FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in production of potassium fertilizers to improve rheological properties of fertilizers based on floatation or halurgic potassium chloride. Method of producing potassium chloride involves structural agglomeration of a mixture of wet concentrate KCl with dry hot cyclone dust of potassium chloride and a binder in a granulator and subsequent drying of the mixture. At stage of structural agglomeration of mixture is supplied dry hot potassium chloride in amount of 5–20 % of weight of wet concentrate KCl. As the binder, using 10 % solution of K2CO3 in amount of 2.5–5%. Prior to drying, the mixture is molded by forcing through a mesh with holes. Granules are dried in temperature range of 100–120 °C.

EFFECT: invention increases dynamic strength of granules of potassium chloride.
