FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to orthopaedic dentistry, and is intended for use in model casting in patients with resected alveolar process of upper jaw to make prosthesis on upper jaw. Impression from silicone impression material is prepared and edge of impression is made. Impression edge is restored by means of formed board, which is made of base wax plate with thickness of 2 mm. Base wax plate is pre-cut to a height of not more than 10 mm, which does not exceed the height of the preserved teeth on the opposite side, and is poured to the impression with the help of a spatula and an alcohol lamp. At the same time on the side of the prosthetic bed wax plate is poured "butt joint", and on the reverse side, the amount of wax is increased for better attachment of wax plate during casting model.
EFFECT: method enables casting the model with preservation of the prosthetic bed, which ensures accurate manufacture of the prosthesis on the upper jaw.
