FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to orthopedic dentistry, maxillofacial prosthetics and can be used for imprinting and casting of the model in the manufacture of a postresection prosthesis of the upper jaw. Upper jaw is modeled from gypsum. Base of the model is made parallel to the lower edge of the handle of the individual spoon; the lower edge of the handle of the individual spoon is ground in the oral cavity parallel to the pupillary line, formed and oriented to the prosthetic plane. Occlusal rolls are arranged parallel to the socket base.
EFFECT: invention enables formation of the model base with due allowance for the anatomical and topographic position of the jaw defect both in width and depth, higher quality of making the occlusal rolls on the wax patterns, which in turn enables correct determination of central occlusion.
