METHOD FOR SETTING ARTIFICIAL TEETH IN IMMEDIATE PROSTHESES IN REMOVING THE ENTIRE GROUP OF ANTERIOR TEETH Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61C1/00

Abstract RU 2734569 C2

FIELD: medicine; orthopedic dentistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in production of implied prostheses in patients with periodontium diseases if it is necessary to remove the whole group of anterior teeth. Before teeth removal, impressions are removed, molds are cast, wax patterns with occlusion rollers are made. Central occlusion is determined; if necessary, the reference points of the prosthetic plane are transferred onto gypsum teeth of the upper jaw model or reconstructed. Models are gypsum in articulator or occluder. On the model, teeth to be removed from one half of the jaw are cut, a semicircular alveolar process is formed; gypsum teeth of the opposite side are cut to the marked line at their vertical movement. Performing artificial teeth in place of cut teeth, focusing on teeth remaining on plaster model. Remaining front teeth on the upper jaw are cut off and the teeth to be removed on the lower jaw; semicircular alveolar processes are formed. Artificial teeth are completed on the upper and lower jaws. Immediate prostheses are completed according to common technique; teeth are removed. Prepared implanted prosthesis is fitted.

EFFECT: method enables accurately restoring the position of artificial teeth by solving the problem of forming a prosthetic plane and placing artificial teeth based on patient's anthropological parameters when removing the entire group of anterior teeth, providing high-quality aesthetic and functional prosthesis of patients with periodontium diseases.
