FIELD: foundry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry and can be used in casting of gas turbine engine blades from heat-resistant alloys. Preform for primers having a cylindrical surface from refractory material is cast in a first ceramic mould in a vacuum furnace. Prior to casting the billet for primers, a cobalt-containing surface modifier is applied on the vertical cylindrical shaping cavity with the closed bottom of the first ceramic mould. Produced workpiece is cut perpendicular to its axis into separate primers. Second casting ceramic mould is made, which contains bottom part, starting and shaping cavities. Starting cavity is made in the form of truncated cone, larger base of which changes into shaping cavity, and smaller base - into bottom part. Primer is placed in the bottom part of the second casting ceramic mould. Second casting mould heated to temperature above temperature of heat-resistant alloy is filled with melt and directed crystallization is performed during casting.

EFFECT: higher quality of casting due to exclusion of grain boundaries on input and output edges of blade in process of its casting with increase in productivity and reduction of labour intensity of preparation of blanks for dummy bars.
