FIELD: metal forming.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pressing of material, in particular chips on worm press. Pressing head comprises at least two channels with inlet and outlet holes. Each channel has fixed support element and pressing element, which can move in one direction, mainly relative to support element. Cross section (QA) of the channel of the pressing head in its outlet hole can vary relative to cross-section (QE) of the channel in the inlet hole. Each pressing element is equipped with an actuator to create a controlled force. Actuator is configured to independently adjust the force of the pressing element.
EFFECT: higher quality of produced briquettes and increased amount of material pressed in one press stroke.
