SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. Invention is a method for survival of Demodex mites for acarogram performance and assessment of adult mobility, involving patient's refusal for 1–2 days before taking scraping from washing, taking with exclusion of any cleaning means of skin scraping of affected areas of patient using scalpel together with sebaceous glands and corneal cells of epidermis, application of scraping on a slide in a thin layer, in room temperature of 20 °C to +25 °C without light and chemical stimuli with oxygen access.
EFFECT: invention enables to preserve live and mobile specimens of Demodex mites for further study of their viability in various drug preparations and substances.
