Disclosed disinfectant composition contains a quaternary ammonium compound (QAC) selected from benzalkonium chloride, 1,2-ethylene-bis-(N-dimethylcarbdecyloxymethyl) ammonium dichloride (ethonium) or a mixture thereof, 2-phenoxyethanol or a mixture thereof with ethylhexyl glycerol, at least one phytoncide source, which is a phyto-extract and/or essential oil of plants selected from cedar, common Scots pine, marigolds, Litsea cubeba, eucalyptus, monads, sage, marigold, oregano, juniper, wormwood, structure-forming agent selected from Aristoflex (copolymer of acrylic acid), carbomer, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (blanose) or mixtures thereof, and water.

EFFECT: agent exhibits antimicrobial activity against bacteria and viruses, is stable during storage and is safe for application on skin.
