FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of bellows and can be used in production of high-strength bellows mainly for operation at high pressures and temperatures in various fields of equipment. Method of bellows manufacturing consists in production of thin-wall tubular billet, installation of billet in tooling to perform shaping operation. Thin-wall tubular billet is shaped in longitudinal direction to form on its diameter in zones of maximum deformation during shaping corrugations thickenings, alternating with thinning in zones of minimum deformation of workpiece, wherein thickness of finished part wall during shaping is controlled by arrangement of tooling elements restricting movement of its separate sections in zones of minimum deformation.
EFFECT: technical result consists in production of thin-walled bellows with minimum thinning and irregularity of corrugation wall thickness.
