FIELD: manufacturing processes for producing single-corrugation thin-wall bellows.
SUBSTANCE: process comprises steps of forming thin-wall tubular blank; forming single-corrugation bellows from such blank; performing interoperation heat treatment of bellows for releasing its inner stresses and subjecting it to final heat treatment for providing desired geometry sizes and for imparting target mechanical properties to metal. Final heat treatment of bellows is realized at scragging corrugation of bellows along its axis due to mounting constant-thickness spacing members mounted inside corrugation.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of bellows due to providing predetermined width of its corrugation along the whole perimeter of bellows.
