FIELD: rail vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway track superstructure, in particular to repair methods of operational damages of surfaces of sharp diamond-points of switch assemblies. Diamond-points are measured with a caliper, and the damaged surfaces of the core and sacks are cleaned. Further, surface fractures are examined for surfaced areas. At surfacing of the first and the second layers length of deposited beads is not more than 350 mm, width is not more than 10 mm, height is not more than 3.0 mm. At that, the first layer is built up towards the spacing of the spider. Each surfaced roller is cooled and forged along its entire length.
EFFECT: recovery of worn-out diamond-points size is achieved.
