SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, with reference to assessment of soil fertility in conditions of Krasnodar region. Method comprises taking samples of specific soil, comparing with standard actual physical and chemical parameters of soil: content of humus, phosphorus, potassium, nitrogen, soil density; assigning a score of a set of reference values, which is a threshold for determining the feasibility of further development of the analyzed soil, determination of specific soil fertility assessment, according to the invention, additional parameters are determined in samples of specific soils: stoniness, soil washing, acid-alkaline balance and capacity of humic horizon, then assessing soil fertility according to a predetermined design formula. If the assessment of fertility is equal to or greater than 0.8, then the soil is suitable for further use for cultivation of crops.

EFFECT: simplified and more accurate assessment of soil fertility.
