FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to the design of the optical sensor of the electric arc. Technical result is achieved by the fact that the spherical bottom of the housing is made in the form of a plane-convex lens, the inner surface of the housing is optically diffusive with the optically transparent material of the housing, its walls can have thickness comparable to the external diameter.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increase of light energy introduced into optical fibre.
