FIELD: radio equipment.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to radio engineering and can be used for navigation of underwater navigation vehicles (UV) without surfacing. Purpose of the proposed method is to facilitate determination of the position of the underwater vehicle by measuring the arrival difference of convolutions of signals of basic radio navigation stations (RNS) and determining the depth of its position. In the method of radio navigational determination of UV coordinates, basic (RNS) signals are received on an underwater vehicle by directing an acoustic wave to the sea surface in the RNS operation area. Modulated acoustic signal is emitted at the operating frequency RNS, and the receiving UV antenna receives a demodulated wideband signal (WBS) carrying the code of any of the RNS, from which output signals are transmitted to receiver, where their convolution with reference signals of known WBS codes of basic RNS.
EFFECT: further, differences in arrival time of convolutions of RNS signals are measured, from which lines and a UV position point are determined with correction of depth of its position, which is obtained by standard echo sounders.
