FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural equipment and can be used for destruction of Colorado potato beetles. Device represents a self-propelled platform which independently moves along rows of potatoes, consists of a frame with wheels and a dropping mechanism of bugs. On the frame there are electric motors connected to the power supply source through the controller. GPS module and a course control camera are connected to the controller. Device comprises an image processing unit, to which the recognition system camera is connected, and the output is connected to the controller input, which outputs are connected to the beetle dropping mechanism and to the sprayer, which is connected to the insecticide tank.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to accurately determine presence of pests on a specific plant and to include destruction systems only when necessary, thereby providing economical consumption of chemicals.
