SUBSTANCE: device for developing and/or testing payload for a satellite comprises a payload interface connected to a payload and a communication line connecting the device to the computer. Device simulates satellite subsystems. System for developing and/or testing a payload for a satellite, comprising a frame for holding a payload in the required orientation and said device. Versions of the method of developing and/or testing payload for a satellite include steps of: simulating payload to determine probable behavior of payload in orbit; payload is controlled to determine its behavior under impact of flight simulation conditions. Computer program is configured to implement said method. Satellite is to be used together with payload developed and/or tested using said device, said system and/or said method.
