FIELD: space research.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of space radiation research, namely to particle and gamma radiation detectors installed on spacecraft. The possibility of placing the device on small satellites is realized by reducing the mass and size characteristics while providing separate registration of gamma radiation and charged particles in the energy release range from 0.1 to 2 MeV with a time resolution of up to 20 microseconds. The device has a height of no more than 40 mm, a width and length of no more than 100 mm, a weight of no more than 400 g. The power consumption of the microcontroller is no more than 0.1 W, that of the other elements of the device no more than 1.2 W.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of placing a device for registering X-ray radiation, gamma radiation and charged particles (i.e. to register various components of cosmic radiation such as electrons, gamma quanta, protons of cosmic rays) on small satellites, including nanosatellites of the CubeSat type with a mass of 1-10 kg, with measurements of charged particle fluxes separately from gamma radiation, while the power transmitted to the payload can be 1-3 W.
