FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil industry and can be used in submersible pump installations when pumping liquid from wells with high gas content. Downhole gas discharge device comprises a base and a head connected by a housing. Inside the chamber there is a cavity divided by a piston into a sub-piston cavity connected to the input of the device and an above-piston cavity connected to the annular space. In the above-piston cavity there installed is a spring pressing the piston, and a shut-off element. Piston has a through channel with a throttling orifice and a seat installed on the side of the shutoff element.
EFFECT: higher stability and efficiency of electric centrifugal pump installation at pumping of liquid with high gas factor due to use of downhole device for gas discharge, having higher actuation speed and reliability.
