FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method of producing liquid hydrocarbon fuel from plant biomass involving using 2–18 tungsten heteropolyacid having a chemical formula H6[P2W18O62] and a liquid hydrocarbon solvent, characterized in that a galvanic bath is filled with 10–40 % aqueous solution of a heteropolyacid in an oxidised form, having a chemical formula H6[P2W18O62], after which graphite electrodes are lowered into the bath, which are connected to a DC voltage source, and at potential difference between cathode and anode of 2–4.5 V under action of direct current, process of reduction of heteropolyanion complex [P2W18O62]6- to [P2W18O62]24-, obtained aqueous solution of a heteropolyacid in a reduced form of formula H24[P2W18O62] is supplied batchwise into a reactor, in which plant biomass and hydrocarbon solvent are then loaded at weight ratio of "hydrocarbon solvent : plant biomass" in terms of dry substance with water content of not more than 10 wt%. is "1:2–4", then, reactor is heated to temperature of 60–95 °C and processing plant biomass until termination of gas phase separation containing a mixture of hydrogen and carbon monoxide, and termination of solution clarification with addition of a portion of a heteropolyacid with reduced form, after which formed mixture is cooled to temperature of 30–40 °C and subjected to filtration and decantation to obtain a liquid hydrocarbon phase aqueous solution of a heteropolyacid of reduced form, having chemical formula H24[P2W18O62], and solid phase, then solid phase is recycled, and aqueous solution of heteropoly acid in reduced form, having chemical formula H24[P2W18O62], is directed to oxidation with air oxygen to form an aqueous solution of a heteropolyacid in an oxidised form, having a chemical formula H6[P2W18O62], which is returned to galvanic bath, and liquid hydrocarbon phase is subjected to fractional distillation with separation of hydrocarbon solvent, which is returned to reactor, and target liquid hydrocarbon fuel, wherein the process of processing plant biomass into the hydrocarbon emulsion is controlled by changing the color of the emulsion, indicating the prevalence of the aqueous heteropolyacid solution in the reduced form, having chemical formula H24[P2W18O62], blue color or aqueous solution of heteropolyacid in oxidised form, having chemical formula H6[P2W18O62], light green color, and in case of prevalence of the latter, additional portion of aqueous solution of heteropolyacid in reduced form, having chemical formula H6[P2W18O62], is introduced into reactor from galvanic bath, and the process is continued until achieving a stable blue color indicating the end of the processing process.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing in a single process chain of processes of destruction and conversion of hemicellulose, lignins and cellulose with current control of the dynamics of the process of processing plant biomass.
