FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to a method for cultivation of carrots in case of lack of land area and device for its implementation. Device consists of a support installed on the field, to which corrugated plates forming channels in the form of honeycombs are installed under an inclination. Part of channels is filled with fast-decomposing substrate, and channels filled with substrate are used as heat exchanger between warm air and substrate. Method consists in planting carrots into channels filled with a substrate that decomposes as plants grow and form cavities in the channel that fill the body of the root. Some channels are not filled with substrate and are used for plant root heating.
EFFECT: technical result is increased yield and quality of carrots due to formation of cavities in channels after decomposition of substrate and heating zone of location of roots.
