SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to agriculture, in particular to a method and device for spring planting of plants under a thick heat-insulating layer and is intended for gardening. The method for spring planting of plants in the soil consists in placing in autumn a thick layer of heat-insulating mulch consisting of dried autumn grass, weeds, straw, leaves and branches with subsequent spring forming of grooves by pressing the mulch, its grinding and mixing with the soil followed by forming of the groove profile and pressing the mixture of ground crushed mulch and soil, then repeatedly watering the groove with warm water with a temperature of 30-40°C and treating with growth stimulants with subsequent closing with a light-penetrable film and then sprouting of the weeds by shredding and subsequent planting. The device for the spring planting of plants in the soil under a thick heat-insulating layer of mulch comprises a pressing platform on which a cutter, a groove forming unit and a pressing roller are installed, with the width of the groove being adjusted by rotating the cutter rotation axis relative to the direction of movement of the platform.
EFFECT: ensured is an increase in soil moisture and fertility.
